Before You Sell Your First Beat

Everything to have in place before your first sale — so it goes smoothly and leads to the next one.

Be ready before the first buyer arrives

Your first sale sets the tone for every sale after. A smooth experience turns a first buyer into a repeat buyer.

Have ready before you publish

  • [ ] A finished, mixed beat with clean files (MP3 + WAV at minimum)
  • [ ] Cover art
  • [ ] Full metadata (title, genre, mood, BPM, key, tags)
  • [ ] All three license prices set (lease, premium, exclusive)
  • [ ] Custom license terms written if you have any
  • [ ] Your producer profile complete (bio, photo, socials)

Know your delivery

  • [ ] Where the buyer gets their files (handled automatically on Loopzo)
  • [ ] What happens on an exclusive sale (the beat comes off your store)
  • [ ] How you'll follow up after the sale

Set the follow-up habit

  • [ ] Plan a short thank-you message after each purchase
  • [ ] Plan to add the buyer to your email list
  • [ ] Plan to send them new beats in their vibe first

The first sale isn't the finish line. It's the start of a relationship — if you're ready for it.

Complete your producer profile and upload your first beat when this list is done.
